The Gossip Vine

I’ve been watching the Australian Open, and it’s just like every few seconds one of the commentators, usually a female, comments about the fact a tennis player has a child.  Why is this?  I mean, I understand when Kim Cjlisters had her baby, that’s one thing and came back and won the US Open, that’s one thing.  But it just goes on and on, and frankly, it’s just annoying after a while.  We get it.  Who cares?  At the height of his game I couldn’t have cared less whether or not Michael Jordan had a kid.  Nor do I worry about the marital status of the Jets’ O-Line, and how many kids Cromartie’s sired this week.  Enough already Pam Shriver.
